First Day of School
Well, how was the first day for everyone? My son began the IB program today and came home pretty excited about the day. The IB program is just great for the kids who have opted to give it a shot. Seems the first day at CHS was very uneventful and a really good start. Everyone remember about Meet The Falcons on Friday, August 7.

My second grader had a wonderful 1st day at Cook! She and the others are anxiously awaiting for the first day to play on their beautiful new playground...I think that might be Monday! Thanks to the MANY individuals who worked sooooo hard this summer to give our students a wonderful place to be active and socialize with friends. This will hopefully allow them to come back and be more focused in the classroom. :-)
ReplyDeleteThings ran smoothly for the first day of the 2009-2010 school year. This is such a special day in the lives of our students and parents so a big thank you to all the CMSD staff that worked so hard to make the first day such a success. It just does not happen by chance, it is planning a preparation - so thank you to all!
ReplyDeleteCook Fine Arts Magnet had a great first week of school. The campus looks terrific. Many thanks to our hard working maintenance crew. There hard work is evident here. On Monday our students will be able to use the new playground. There is an area under construction but we will have access to most of it. Everyone is very excited. I will have the camera ready to snap many photos. Come by and check it out. There is not another one like it nearby.
