Building Projects

Yesterday, the Board approved the low bid for the new middle school. So, as soon as the contractor provides the bond and insurance certificate (maybe 10 days or so) we should see work begining -- fast and furious -- at the new middle school site.

The Board also approved to advertise for bid the additions for Cook, Sale, and Stokes-Beard. We need additions to these buildings so there is room for the 5th graders in 2010.

    This is great.

    I am wondering after talking to many parents, if there will be a public forum over the new 11 month cal.? Many parents I have spoke to want this.

    WOW! I had no idea that so much had already been done at the new middle school site! What a great idea for Janet to post weekly updates! The pictures will really be a great way for us to watch the progression of what will become an amazing new middle school!
    It is a GREAT day to be a FALCON! :-)
